Liberal garbage in, liberal garbage out. Typical. F word is acceptable to low level intelligence posters who probably use the word freely. If you can't make a point without F word, you are too stupid for me to want to read it.

removing the confederate statues will not ever change how the African American community feel - they need to address that. I don't see how those things can be reminders to them as none of them are old enough to have been slaves. Yes there is still racism in this country, but I think those monuments should be looked as reminders of where and how far we have come from that time. I am not a republican, but as an American I think that we definitely must be careful not to push the past into a drawer or we will forget and regress. We need reminders to keep it fresh in our mind how wrong that was and how we can never let ourselves go back there again. You can't wipe history off the map. Even the Jews have museums showing the horrors of the Holocaust for that very reason.
I agree with you. - sm

I wonder how VTMT feels, though, after making her statement about something else. I would like an answer from her.
Yet there are no statues honoring Hitler in Germany or - anywhere in Europe. nm
Ever Wondered: America's World Rank In # Of EmployeesOct 21, 2012 Turns out we're only 50th in erection length, which I guess could be explained as a nation of immigrants. Uraguay is first...; a surprise to me, but of course not to them. Netherlands is the only European nation to make the top 10, another surprise--tidy little Holland? :) We are #1 in gross domestic product, economically speaking.
