I read everything I can that could potentially heal the troubles of our country right now.

It all starts with us. Take the hint.

We have been reading nothing but articles - about racial tensions.

It has done nothing but divide the country more. Do you think an article like this or any other article is going to heal this country? Racial tensions are never going to change in this country. It's like the middle east. We are never going to stop them from fighting.

All we can do is be the best we can and treat everybody equally.

We have to go back to the time - BO (before Obama).

never even thought about race. There were whites, blacks, Hispanics, Native Americans and Indians in our town/school and we all got along just fine because none of us saw skin color or ethnicity.

I was around in the 60s and there were - riots. None of this racism

A town in my county just had their 18th Parade of Nations - Truthhurts

and 15 nations were represented, 2 new ones, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. It's pretty neat. The people in the parade carry flags and wear the costumes of their ancestral homes. This town has always had a diverse population from all over the world. MALDEF came into town one year and tried to create big trouble but it didn't work. The people all stuck together. MALDEF left in defeat.

My little town is like that too, but it's not - that way in all of the country

They'll just ramp up the hate even more. I received an email from "Nancy" Friday. I won't say what was in it, but she and her party is just getting started on the hate campaign and it's not about the president this time, either. The hate is directed at the people.

It's nice to know that representatives "of the people" aren't really "for the people."

You need to send it to all of them. This is - not party specific. nm

Notice all the mean-spirited posts below. All that hysteria is because the GOP party is imploding, due to the extremists. The moderates have left the building and thrown up their hands in defeat.
