Has anyone out there had rotator cuff surgery? I am afraid that is what I am facing. I am having an MRI in a few days and then probably talking to a surgeon. It has gotten to the point that I can't handle the pain anymore when I "forget" and use that arm the wrong way. How long did it take you to get back to working?? I can't afford to be out 6 weeks as I have no disability insurance and basically as an MT living from paycheck to paycheck. I do have 2 wee ...

surgery? My doctor is suspecting mine is torn, haven't had the MRI yet. I have heard about terrible recovery times, pain, etc., after such surgery and was wondering if any of you have had the surgery and how long it has taken to get back to transcribing. Checked some sites on the internet and they say that typing should not be much of a problem after a few days after the surgery but was wanting to hear from an MT who has acutally had it done. ...

Did anyone on here ever have a tension free mesh inginal hernia repair and 7 or 7 weeks later getting some small problems with either a stitch or ingrown hair in the incision site that causes a small red bump. The stitches were absorbable so not sure why this would be a problem. ...
