just my husband. I never set out in life with a purpose of only have one partner, just worked out that way. There are still times (that little voice) that wishes I had more than just one, but I've realized it is what makes our bond more special I think.

Glad you don't listen to "that little voice" because most likely you're not missing anything.

I think living in the enviroment I have all my life, I have been exposed to so much sexuality and I took full advantage of my surroundings!
Do I regret having such a tremendous number? Not at all as I learned so much from each partner ... both good and bad and it has made me the person I am today. Now will I regret revealing this ... (to think about it, it is well above 100)....?
I imagine it will cloud the images some may have of me (well more than it is already clouded) but it really does not bother me in the least.
I can't imagine having only one partner for an entire lifetime as much as those who do can't imagine having my number either.

One, and only one, thank God! I also thank my religious beliefs for sparing me the hurt and disappointment of being used sexually and for pointing me in the right direction for true happiness in my one and only marriage.
Most people don't realize that the more sexual partners, the more your chances for STDs multiplies--not just once each time, but several times over.
Hurray for committed marriages!! I don't have to feel I'm being used, then tossed aside.

Hmmm, I don't really think that is a subject to brag on ladies. Apparently some of you do though. Plus that is an extremely personal question. Hope those of you who claim to be so "worldly" have been checked for STDs. Sad that so many people take sex so lightly these days. It seems to mean nothing to some folks except immediate physical gratification. Not much better than animals I'd say. Just my humble opinion.

Oh and just to make myself clear on this and to not sound sexist, I don't like to hear men bragging about how many women they've had either. There are names for people of both sexes who do this, but I am probably not allowed to write it out here. LOL.

not to have participated in the outcome of this thread. No good can come of asking this kind of question of anyone other than someone it truly matters regardless of which side you feel is justifiable. I have nothing to offer about the subject, but stand by my assessment that value judgements are made by answering this question.
Do we have to count them if we - did not their name?

I have never heard more ugly, hateful, hurtful things said on any of these boards. That they are speaks volumes. I am not going to comment on the subject of the thread, just the outcome. How very, very sad.

I wasn't going to answer the question anyway, but the outcome is very sad.
People spouting religion while judging and saying such terrible, hateful, nasty things?
I'm glad I stayed out of it.

I'm not being mean here, I'm just really seriously curious as to why you would want to know the number of partners of the posters here, people you don't even know. Do you need something to compare? The only important thing to me is that I've had one and only one partner for over 19 years - my husband. Anything prior to that is history. Not everyone is a saint nor is everyone promiscuous. When I told my mom that I was getting married - it was kind of a spur of the moment thing - let's get married before he goes to sea for the first time(Hubby was stationed in SC so he wasn't with me), her first question was "Why, are you pregnant?" And that was only because I come from a very long line of women who got pregnant before marriage, sister, mom, aunts, etc. No, I was not pregnant.
