Has anyone done a reverse mortage?

I know there are pros and cons out there on the Internet, but I would like the opinions of my peers, if there are any. I know a lot of us have fallen on tough times due to this industry being destroyed by some of the mega companies, but I'm just wondering if anyone got a reverse mortgage and if they like it. Thank you.;

and although at first glance it seemed I'd do well, when you got right down to the facts and figures it was pretty sad. There are HUGE up front costs that had a bigger impact than I would have guessed, it turned out I was not much better off and the bank would own more and more of my house every month.
