Has anyone been to this place?  The reviews are iffy but i've been places before that the reviews were not so good but ended up being nice and enjoyable.

TIA

When I look at hotel/resort reviews I look at the total # of reviews and how many were average, good, wonderful compared to how many were horrible, unacceptable. I looked at this resort on Trip Advisor and they had 285 reviews with 86 of them being poor or terrible. That means 200 guests that bothered to write a review found it acceptable to excellent.

It says it was built in the 70's so it is not going to be a brand new resort but managements response to a couple of the unfavorable reviews spoke of them remodeling a specific type of room each year such as studios, one bedrooms, etc. If it is a resort with a huge influx of families and kids then you will need to expect some wear and tear in the rooms based on that schedule of remodeling the rooms. Thank you!!! - especially for taking the time to do the math. I sometimes wonder how picky these people are being, etc. I'm all for it - it has a full kitchen so we can fix our own breakfast and lunch - we planned on eating out for dinner. It has plenty for the kids to do on-premise as well as right on the beach. NOW - if I can just convince the other mom that it will be okay. I've left her with reserving us a place but have made "suggestions" to her and she wasn't happy about the bad reviews this place got.

When my mom and I went to Chicago last year, the hotel I reserved had bad reviews as well. When we got there - they were sooo nice. The air conditioner wasn't working in the room but maintenance got there within a few minutes and fixed the problem.

Sorry for rambling - I LOVE to travel but this is the first time for me to go without my husband and to rely on someone else for 50/50 decisions. :)

Kansas City Police Captain Shot Dead. Jul 20, 2016
Will this war on cops stop? Seems like they’re going after the officers now. That’s a significant change. "A Kansas City, Kansas police captain has been shot and reported killed Tuesday afternoon." I don't think we're in a civil war yet because the vast majority of us don’t have a problem with each other. It’s the divisiveness driven by the far left radicals on the left that have fueled so much of this. ...
