True story: Like so many others I recently joined the world of facebook. I looked up old high school friends and got in touch with a lot of old friends from 1980. Unfortunately, I "friended" an old flame. He was one of by boyfriends in my junior/senior year and the summer in between, but he went to another school. (My friends and I did that a lot, had BF at other schools so we could have one at our school too. You know, young gals...) Well apparently I got under that one's skin and he asked me to marry him while we were still in school. Of course I declined, I was having way too much fun playing the field. I blew him off. He was pissed, but I had pissed guys off before and it was no big deal...
Present day: He started right off on facebook asking where he went wrong, why didn't I love him then, what did he do, I still love you, never got over you, never married, want to see you... (scary!). I was getting sick of the questions! I mean, jeeezzzz! 28 years ago! Obviously I wasn't in love with him, we were so young. I was having fun!
Then he asked me what I did that summer that we broke up... I told him I DID the brothers that lived across the street from me! HAHAHAH!! He hasn't written since. Guess he finally got the picture? (I blocked him anyway!!)
The story gave my sister a big belly laugh, so I thought I'd give y'all a laugh too. :)
Moral of the story: Be careful of who you "friend" on facebook.
