I buy my seeds on eBay, you get 50ish seeds for $3.00ish pretty much, free shipping, and that goes for about any vegetable.  I used to think they had to come from some place like Burpee.  Not!  With 50 seeds, you have a pretty good chance of at least 1 or 2 growing.  Since I grow only a couple plants each time, the seeds will last me for years and I will have a good variety of things to plant.  I have seeds from last year plus ones I bought this year and haven't used.  They don't go bad as a rule, unless they're not completely dry, then you might get some mold, but I haven't had that problem.  I read the write-ups they put for their seeds and the customer reviews, then after looking at all that and the pictures, decide whose I want to buy.  Doesn't take much to amuse most some days.
