So in true Democrat thinking, FDR had tens of thousands of livestock bought up, shot, and buried, to create a shortage and get the price up.
As for those starving people, the government agents refused to give them any of the killed meat. It all had to be buried.
Time to get out that old Better Homes and Gardens cookbook from the 40s and 50s and start making casseroles. Put up some in the freezer so you don’t get sick of eating the same stuff every night. If I have to I can squeeze a buck til it screams.
Don’t worry about gaining weight because you’ll probably have to walk to the store since gas is so high.
