Trying to watch the debate on the voting bill again - Truthhurts

Posted: Jan 19th, 2022 - 10:42 am

So sad. Such weak excuses the DemonRats are using to try to pass this bill. Klobuchar stated some people stand in line for hours. Other people stood in line in the rain. Gee, tell me people are that stupid that they didn't know it was going to rain or didn't think to have an umbrella with them.  I missed the person she stated worked or served in the service overseas and did absentee voting but when that person came home, he or she had to go through a couple steps just to absentee vote.

Sorry, but I don't believe in just mailing ballots to everyone in the jurisdiction. I think absentee voting or mail in ballots should only be given to those that REQUEST one and/or have a valid reason for wanting one.

Another thing: MLK's family is all in favor of this bill. Guess they didn't read it because I don't think MLK would approve of either bill. Sad. Yet, these Dems are using RACISM once again to try to pass this bill.

Well looks like the DemonRats are going to do most of the debating again today. Saw one Republican debate why the bill should not pass.  Sen. Peters is talking now and he said how frail our Constitutional Republic really is yet he's part of the group trying to destroy it.  I don't know why the Dems keep saying they need early voting. I thought all states had some type of early voting. Then they keep pushing Article I, Sec. 4 of the Constitution, but only the part that states  "but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations."  They don't want anyone that doesn't have knowledge of  the Constitution to know the beginning of this section.

Yes, it's sad that these Dems want to destroy our Constitution. Will this be the last time they'll try to shred it? Doubt it very much. Vote will be taken around 6:30 p.m. We will either be crying or smiling with the vote.

And now, I'll shut up. :)
