I am the OP and what you say makes sense, I actually wondered the same thing. Some of the replies were the same thing all the time, as if they were being generated by 'bots. I have sent private emails to the moderator, and have been reporting posts for a very long time, but it has never been addressed before. I am not a troll, but I moved the discussion to the gab board because I thought it was a way to bring it to peoples' attention, and it did. If rules weren't being violated regarding cyberbullying, when those comments target a specific person, they are bordering slander and libel, and there are definitely laws governing that. My opinion is that the politics board needs to be password protected, with people assigned a specific user name. Hiding behind anonymity, it is very easy to say anything and everything. I know they try not to moderate that forum too stringently, if at all, but it can't be the free for all it has become, and it needs an impartial moderator. I am not sorry that I said because I noticed that they finally cleaned it up.
