My hubby and I have gone on at least 1 cruise a year for the last 20 years. We are planning a cruise to the Panama Canal in December. Even with all the passengers, most of the time the "crowds" are not annoying. We have always found places to hang out where there weren't a lot of crowds. Everyone is pretty much spread out around the ship. When you run into crowds is getting on and off the ship in each port and at the buffet during breakfast and lunch which we tried to go either before the rush or after. Dining in the main dining rooms was never crowded. The crew does a good job of keeping things moving. Cruising may not be for everyone, but we love it.
