personal finance - the best advice I ever heard

The best financial advice I ever heard was from Charles Dickens in David Copperfield: If you spend one penny less than you make you will be a rich man. If you spend one penny more you will be a pauper. The second best was from Suze Orman: Respect your money. Keep your wallet organized, keep all your paper bills in order by denomination. Words to live by that changed my life.
