...which was a long time ago. I don't have "searing visuals" but I sure remember it. In the years in between, I also remember the price of gas rising to over $4 a gallon and then coming back down. The news services do a good job of ramping things up to create panic. I don't work at home and have no choice than to take my car. Most people will drive less or not change their driving habits. Most people will fill their tanks and do what they have to do. We are still more fortunate than people in Europe who pay much, much more, which is why so many people walk, ride bikes, use public transportation and drive fuel efficient vehicles. There is not an unlimited supply of gasoline.
