Biden should have gone down to the border immediately after becoming president to see first hand what needs reinforcement in the interest of our national security. But he's shown no interest in upholding his oath to secure our borders and his woefully incompetent vice pres is no better. He's only resuming a few miles of the wall to prevent flooding at the Rio Grande, but isn't going to continue reinforcement beyond that.

Biden is basically ignoring the serious and deadly consequences of continuing to allow an open border policy. The flood of illegal drugs coming across the border if nothing else should at least be a priority when it comes to managing the border. As president, he should know that there's a national opioid epidemic in this country right now responsible for a record number of deaths due to drug overdoses. You'd think Biden would want to do everything in his power to put a stop to the flood of illegal drugs into the US by whatever means possible.

He likes throwing money around, so why not reinstate funds to deal with the border disaster he created, hire more Border Control agents with ongoing support and resume working with Mexico to stop the drug cartels dead in their tracks. That would be money well spent!
