Many of these sites are deceptive. And you had to click through a bunch of screens trying to get you to double your donation, and sign up for recurring donations. It was confusing.
I don’t have any regrets for donating to Trump. He fought for us. He did a heck of a job. But I don’t like WinRed’s tactics. But that was not Trump, that was WinRed. It was heavy handed, but it was not designed by Trump. And when I went to donate to the Georgia candidates, if you read the fine print, 1/3 of it was going to McConnell. But it allowed you to change it, which I did.
The article itself is misleading and not entirely accurate, so what's the difference? How many Page 17 retractions or “corrections” have the Washing Post and the NY Slimes published lately? Same thing.
We all should read carefully, both parties.
