The Biden White House IS unified with - the Republican voter

Posted: Apr 6th, 2021 - 2:10 pm In Reply to: Definitely the case! - LOL

The Republican members of Congress and Senate are NOT.

Republican voters were in favor of the CARES Act, and their Republican reps are trying to claim credit. But not a one of them voted for it.

Same thing with many other issues. The majority of Americans (including Republicans) want some form of gun control, but Repubs are owned by the NRA, so nah.

Unity does NOT mean lying down and letting McConnell roll over you, unity means listening to conservative voices, but they have to listen too, and they have to mean it.

If they get their "ideas" into the bill, they should then vote for it, which they never ever do.

McConnell promised the infrastructure bill will not get any Republican votes.

How's that for unity?

Why should the Ds even listen to R ideas if, when told by McConnell not to vote for the final product, they obey him one and all?
