I liatened to the old Michigan gov on NPR. She was - appointed to the Dept of Energy.

She and NPR were spewing lies about TX. Unprecedented cold, that's a lie. Other states could have provided power if TX were on a "grid". Lie, that's not how the grid works, power sharing is set up years in advance and is done continuously, and all surrounding states ran out of electricity and could not have provided any.

Then they said that "wind power" was only a "small part" of TX power and therefore not the problem last week. That's a lie. Wind capacity is 30 GW and typical power use is 60 GW. However wind provides about 10 GW on average because it is unreliable. It provides an average of 9 GW on Feburary days and should have provided much more than that on Feb 15th. But instead it provided 3 GW. It failed when it was most needed.

Then they implied that wind is more reliable than fossil. That a complete lie and a very dangerous lie. The stupid ***** should not be charge of screwing in a single light bulb.
