The turbines would not have failed - if they had winterized

Which was advised exactly 10 years ago when this happened before.

They did not, would rather not spend the money. It's not an indictment of wind power, it's an indictment of the power board who decided this.

Many wind turbines work just fine in frigid temperatures because they have been winterized. Even a little bit of winterizing would probably have helped, but they didn't want to spend anything, obviously. That is just not okay.
