If the board had taken the recommendations to winterize (or if they had been forced to, as should have happened), the wind turbines would have been fine. But no, they did not want to spend the money for that.
Apparently, everyone in Texas will now get massive power bills despite having no power for weeks because that's how this corrupt system works.
Fact:
About 56 percent of Texas' energy comes from natural gas, just under 24 percent comes from wind, 19 percent from coal, and almost 9 percent from nuclear energy.
