If the migrants push their way past the US border and violence breaks out with people getting hurt or worse killed, that's going to be a huge disaster for Biden. And it will be said that he encouraged thousands of migrants to come and instead of being helped, they were met with lethal force. Can you just imagine the headlines...

If Biden allows them passage with no resistance, then he's going to have to find them shelter, food, medical care, etc., etc., and right now millions of our own people are in crisis for needing the same because of the Covid hardships being faced every day. So he had better handle the issue of the caravans on the way before this turns into a national security crisis at the US border.
