I agree it was wrong for Rosenberg's sentence - to be commuted

Posted: Jan 14th, 2021 - 12:57 pm In Reply to: Well, well, well..guess who Marxist Comrade Obama - pardoned? Check out Susan who is

It was actually President Clinton who did that on his last day in office, commuting her 58-year sentence to her time served of about 16-plus years, though not specifically pardoning her. When you read about the activities Rosenberg was alleged to have been involved in, even a commutation seems inappropriate. In fact, the only reason she was not tried (though she was charged) for her role in other crimes in which at least 4 people were killed (1 Brinks guard, 1 state trooper, and 2 police officers) is because Rudy Giuliani, then U.S. District Attorney for the Southern District of New York, said her 58-year sentence for her convictions on various weapons charges made further prosecution unnecessary. There was a lot of outrage when she was released.

Also, it looks like Rosenberg was/is on the Board of Directors of Thousand Currents. Thousand Currents provides support to Black Lives Matter, thus enabling BLM to carry out its mission. While Rosenberg has said that she no longer believes in political violence like she did in her younger days, her involvement with an organization that financially supports BLM makes her claim dubious at best. We know actions speak more loudly than words.
