Yeah, about our poverty level - here in America

Are you not aware of the growing homeless population in many of our cities across this country, numbering in the hundreds of thousands? California alone has over 150,000. A lot of the liberal governors running states with major homelessness issues have forgotten what America stands for alright when it comes to their own citizens. They're doing absolutely NOTHING for their own tired, poor, huddled masses living out of cardboard boxes having to rummage through trash for recyclables just to make a couple dollars. And you want an open border situation to allow more people to come here from other countries to live in America's brand of poverty, which you believe would be "a better lifestyle" for them? Are you serious?

That kind of thinking is plain reckless and cruel, when you know there are no jobs and no adequate means to house all of the migrants wanting to come here, especially during this Covid pandemic, when they're numbering by the thousands in caravans now.

The more compassionate thing to do would be to take care of our own poverty-stricken people first because they're dying out there on the streets, in alleyways, under freeway overpasses, in the parks, in the subways, etc. These are the downtrodden in need of help right here in America.
