There are so many who will refuse to work together and end the hyperpartisanism and division between parties. They enjoyed 4 years of having one of the most blatant bullies in the Oval Office who gave “free speech” a new definition, that name calling is okay, that ridiculing is okay, that firing department heads in a tweet is okay, that inciting hatred is okay, that undermining the credibility of respected experts is okay.
Biden does none of these. He’s not a conspiracy theorist, communist, nor socialist. The Trumpers are an angry group of people. I can’t imagine spending my life with this kind of anger and hate in me. So unhealthy and stressful.
Trump refuses to concede and begin the transition process not because he believes there was voter fraud (he planted that seed months before the campaigning started), but because his entire life he was told how much his father hated “losers.” What kind of father does that to his son. This is why he associated military KIA as being losers. He is an insecure narcissist who doesn’t know how to deal when he can’t get his own way or when someone disagrees with his opinion. He was never taught how.
This is not someone who cares about the American people. He has never had our best interests in mind, only his own. That’s just his nature. I can hardly even blame him any longer. I blame his upbringing. He defiantly refuses to meet with the new administration admitting that it’s his revenge against Democrats. His purpose is to make Biden’s job more difficult upon taking office. If you cared about American citizens, why would you put them all at increased risk this way. This is about him, only him.
To live with such hate in your heart and revel in propagating drama and chaos is so sad to watch.
