Speaking of Obama--remember Operation Chokepoint? The Office of the Comptroller of Currency proposed a rule requiring banks to treat customers individually rather than groups, and prevent them from ending services to customers in some category or other. This was what that "Chokepoint" was about: Denying some businesses (pawn shops; sporting/hunting stores) access to financial tools available to other businesses.
