That's when Catholics started voting Democrat. Democrats are for the working man is rooted in a myth, too. They will always vote perceived self-interest over Church moral teachings every time.

Even that is changing with this liberal pope. Last time I looked, the Bible is still the word of God.

Thanks for posting this, because we seem to get very little leadership from bishops and priests now.

I say this as a 3rd gen Irish Catholic that they’re not voting for Catholic values. Theyre not consulting the catechism or catholic teaching. They’re not thinking about the Bible or how Jesus came into the world the day the angel appeared to Mary and life begins at conception as gospel truth.

They’re not saying "what is God’s will. Guide me.” They’re saying, I’m a democrat like my father was, so Democrat good, Republican bad.
