It was obvious that biden knew perfectly well which son the President was referring to. Biden was "misunderstanding" on purpose in order to gain sympathy and to try to make Trump look bad. This is biden's usual M.O.--like when he claimed the truckdriver involved in the accident in which his first wife was killed was driving drunk.
Biden knew this was untrue and there were even questions that his wife may have caused the accident by running a stop sign. The trucker was devastated by the accident and even more so every time biden repeated this lie, to the extent that his daughter even contacted biden asking him to stop claiming this. Biden agreed but then continued to do so. Biden is the epitome of a self-serving, lying career politician.
