Do you understand how government works? I don't think so. - Truthhurts

When a bill is introduced in Congress and they pass it, it goes through a series of committees. Committees are the ones who hold up any bills. After the committee approves a bill, it is passed and goes to the Senate. Guess what? The bill goes through more committees. Then, and only then when approved, does the Senate get to vote on it.

This process takes so long that some bills have been sitting in committees for more than a year. After all, the committees are Congress people and they have more to do than just approve these bills. Hundreds of bills are sent to committees that are so ridiculous but they clog these committees so that real serious good bills get bogged down.

Everyday people don't understand this process and have temper tantrums that "bills are sitting on so-and-so's table." It's sad that the liberal media rely on people to be uninformed on how the government really works.
