Bergolio has all but admitted that he's a Marxist, and was quite the busy boy in South America. He's the fruit of the infiltration of the religious equivalent of "Progressivism," what Pope St. Pius X termed "Modernism." During the 20th century Marxists and fellow travelers infiltrated the Church; it culminated in Vatican II, which "progressively" gutted the Church of sacred tradition and teachings.
I've always found it interesting that the anti-Catholic Modernism and the anti-Capitalist Marxism both started around the same time in the mid-1800s, both picked up speed in the mid-1930s, and both hit their goal-posts in the mid-1960s.
