That's what it sounds like. If you're not careful, she might have the basis for a libel suit. At least that would solve her money woes.

No one here needs your suggestion not to give her money. If that's your choice, that's your business. It's pretty disgusting (not to mention highly arrogant and self-righteous) to imply someone is asking for help under false pretenses when you don't know the facts. If there is a mental health issue, that is sad, but some people are just revilers, and I'm not talking about Wendy. Reviling someone is a choice and a sin, not a mental health condition.
