Fake fake fake news. Texas has a population of 29 million. Florida has a population of nearly 22 million. Its deaths per million of the population that counts, not total deaths.
Going by deaths per million, all the worst affected states are run by Democrats and the best performing states like South Dakota are run by Republicans. Take out Dem run states like New York and New Jersey and America's deaths rate would have been
far far lower.
Axios is a joke.
