goes on in their their cities. They are fixated on infringing on/eliminating second-amendment rights, so they (a) mandate that their cities be "gun-free," then (b) ignore it when criminals use guns to kill their inhabitants.

Meanwhile some poor schlub who wants a pistol to protect his family and himself is put through the wringer to get a firearm "legally," and even ammunition.
