That's too bad - nowwhat

I really admired her courage for not backing down from what she believed in during the crazy Chaz/Chop days. She stayed through all of that, even though the odds were stacked against her that she'd ever be able to police and serve the City of Seattle as it needed to be.

I don't blame her for giving notice of her retirement just after the city council decided to defund the police dept, by suggesting to cut 100 total officers, to include patrol officers, specialized units from SWAT, Harbor Patrol and Mounted officers. They also proposed "deep cuts" to her pay and other members of her command staff.

I don't see the logic behind this mentality to get rid of police while your city is being destroyed bit by bit.
