What Study is This? - Glorianna

I can find no study that claims even 1 million have died worldwide. The estimates I see are all in the 600,000 to 650,000 range, depending on whether the article came from early in the month or quite recently.

I try very hard to keep track of what is going on COVID-wise in the 4 states where I have family plus my own state. In all 5, the number positive and the number who have died are clearly quite different. The percent positive per day is the important number for my state as the trend up or down determines whether opening will be rolled back or continued.

I don't follow the statistics closely for the other 45 states (5 is enough), but if your state is not supplying you with clear information, then that is a real shame. The misunderstanding will just make it that much harder to get back to normal.
