We can all read the actual (updated) opening paragraph by the New England Journal of Medicine in the above post. You are discrediting your own posts by continuing to make incorrect statements that masks are unnecessary and do not prevent infection in the mask wearer.
The science absolutely supports that wearing a mask will help decrease transmission of Covid to others.
If you're infected with Covid (with or without symptoms), your mask will help prevent the spread of your germs to other people. That's how this works. If we all wear a mask, then we're all helping to protect each other. That's the reason for the mask. The argument that masks are of no use has been debunked many times over by the research. Stop spreading misinformation that can be harmful to others.
