That "payoff," also referred to as "hush money" by your handlers in the NPCMedia, was part of a nondisclosure agreement--very common and perfectly legal. You have quite the imagination. Almost rises to the level of delusional. Hunter "in quarantine?" In hiding, more like. People don't have social media accounts suspended for asking where someone is if they're just "in quarantine."
"Most of us" are not in quarantine. Quarantine is to isolate people who are sick--though thinking fear is a virtue is pretty sick.
Hunter and other Burisma people had a lot of contact with Obama's State Department. In 2015 a State Department official voiced concern about the VP's son being on Burisma's board, and a Biden staffer poo-pooed it.
In fact, Hunter never did any real work for Burisma. That company was being investigated, and he was paid lots of money to be a "helpful non-executive director with a powerful name." A 2016 State Department e-mail specifically named Hunter as a reason Obama's people should stop the investigation.
Among other things, as I recall, Hunter's no-showed for court hearings over a baby he fathered by a stripper. Also as I recall he's refused to disclose financials in connection with the paternity suit.
What a guy.
