With the 2nd wave of the virus waltzing around in Europe, I don’t think this chatter matters. New wave in NW Germany, has triggered hotel anxiety to occur. If you arrive at a hotel, they ask for your home-town, and some folks are on the do-not-rent-a-room-to. I don’t expect the tourist business to take in Europe for any part of 2020.
We will see what happens once the Europeans take their usual month off during the summer.
I don't want to spend big bucks traveling somewhere that hates Americans anyway. My daughter visited Ireland right after 9/11 and Bush declaring war on Iraq. Many there were very rude to my 9th grader, simply because she was an American.
