the BLM protesters want the racial profiling and the brutality by police to stop so that what happened to George Floyd won't happen again.
The thing is, most officers are not out there thinking and behaving like Chauvin and the 3 other ex-cops. I have to believe these cops were the exception rather than the rule in Minneapolis.
In my opinion, the BLM movement isn't addressing the real issue. Of course, the lives of black people matter. The lives of all people matter. But the BLM movement is quickly beginning to sound ridiculous by making demands to defund police departments or to do away with police altogether. I would rather support a movement committed to stopping hatred and violence in America.
