I was actually very sick sometime after the holidays (after Christmas/New Year timeframe). I had a high fever of 103.1, went to the doctor, and was tested for flu, which was negative. I was told nothing could really be done, so just go home, have plenty of fluids, rest, etc., as it was a VIRUS. Obviously, I recovered, as I am able to type this now. But, I wonder, was THE VIRUS floating around in the US that early? Could it have been? I basically self-quarantined, as I was feeling so sick. My husband caught it from me, or something like it and recovered after that too.
