My sister in Boise told me of this problem 2 weeks ago. The small towns don’t have the medical resources and the little stores don’t have the stock for everyone, let alone the rich hoarders.
There’s value in living a place that wealthy people have no interest in, LOL. There's definite advantage living in what they call 'rural redneckia' LOL
