It's amazing how few people outside vet offices, shelters and rescue organizations know this, but phenol-based products like Lysol and Pine-Sol are horrifyingly toxic to cats. Google it. I would add that the warnings you find do not go far enough. I personally do not believe it is safe to sequester your felines "until the floor is dry." The effects are both immediate and cumululative. I have seen the hepatic and neurologic effects and they can be devastating. If you love your pets don't take chances with their health.
