There is hope - OP sm

The government, Healthcare, and private industry all seem to understand the issues and what's at stake. (The media does not.) They're ignoring the media and taking the steps necessary to deal with the issues. They will never tell us to panic, they will never tell us the real truth (because we'll panic). But they will tell us what they expect us to do.

JUST DO IT!

Don't second guess them and say it's all overblown. Or just the flu! Or did you see that politician shake hands and touch his face, what an idiot!

I'm hopeful because those three groups (Government, Healthcare, Private industry) will come together and get us through this. Here's something that I heard about yesterday:

Typically, a vaccine is developed, then tested, if it works it's put into production. We have a vaccine 12-18 months later.

Now, a vaccine is developed, it's put into production and tested at the same time. If the test is successful, we have a supply of the vaccine ready to go. This can shave months or years off the process.

The economy will crash. There's no way it won't. The only question is how bad will it get. It will rebound just as hard.

Ignore the media. They don't know what they're talking about, they never do. Their one goal is getting as much of your attention as possible so they can sell advertising. They know people can't look away from a car accident, they make everything a car accident. Ignore it.
