Reply to MT living in van - PWS

When you first posted your plea for help on the Prayer Requests board of this forum over a year ago, it was immediately impressed upon my heart to pray for you, and I have continued to ever since. There have been others also who have been faithful to God to pray for you; it’s what believers are commissioned to do - pray for one another. We followed your story and continued to pray for you every step of the way. It’s through your diligent updates that we were able to do this and witness God’s divine intervention, especially during those most needful times. May God be thanked for His many blessings that sustained you. Those who donated to your fund campaign I believe were sent by God, whether believers in Him or not. God will supply for our needs in whatever way He will. He is the source of our daily provision. I believe He gave you the strength to keep going. He kept you safe in many of those situations that so easily could have left you that much more vulnerable, and you know how terrible any of those situations could have been...the different times you nearly lost your van when so essential for providing you shelter and enabling you to work your food delivery jobs; the accidents that could have been so much worse; the hurricane that was on target to hit exactly your location but didn’t; the times you felt unwell; the questionable motives of people you encountered along the way who could have ended up being so much more menacing and dangerous; all the times you feared for your safety while simply needing a place to park for some much needed rest; all the times you made deliveries on the job feeling so exhausted and weary from lack of sleep; all the times you felt guilt for putting your pets through this experience and all the sadness you felt as you looked into their questioning little faces; all the times you felt completely alone and misunderstood - during all of it, Wendy, God was there with you. Even as a child, going through those tough times when you faced things on your own, He was there with you.

In learning about your story, I sense that perhaps you had a religious upbringing or there was someone who spoke to you about God? I remember one of your videos, showing what I believe was an angel figurine? You placed it in your van so that, while driving around, its tinkling sound would remind you that an angel was on board and always near - I believe you do have many angels around you...

You’ve been hard on yourself at times during this entire ordeal and have blamed your dire situation directly on mistakes you’ve made in life. None of us are immune from making all kinds of mistakes, God knows. But thank God for his mercy and His grace. By faith in Him, He can change our lives and give us a new starting point, a new beginning, and a greater purpose. If adversity teaches us anything, it’s to rely upon our God.

I will always remember you, Wendy, and hope to learn one day that you are settled, safe and secure, and moving forward with a new sense of purpose and direction for your life.

God bless you, Wendy, Henry and Lucy!!!

Your prayer warrior sister
