My concern is that some people in this country are more concerned about their "legal" status than they are disgusted by the crime itself, and certain media outlets are capitalizing on that.

As far as their ages, there are really legitimate reasons why they could be there at that age but again, that has nothing to do with the crime itself, which is what everybody should be disgusted by.
