The WHO is even more corrupt than the run-of-the-mill UN agency, if that is possible. His boss is a Ethiopian who is bought and paid for by the Chinese back home. He was a member of the government and heavily vested in Chinese push into Africa. They own him, period, and this guy is carrying water as well.
I think the real question about this virus is the mortality rate. The professionalism and quality of local Chinese healthcare, as opposed to the quality of the Chinese healthcare system, is probably acceptable to treat either flu or virus under normal circumstances.
The problem is the Wuhan healthcare system was utterly swamped. So the question is what can we say about the mortality rate of this virus by looking at the numbers in Wuhan?
Well, we can't believe the WHO and we certainly can't believe the Chinese Communists. I don't believe the CDC when they tell me they believe the Chinese healthcare providers.
The WHO is a joke and only the clinically insane would take their advice.
