who can't handle money and make poor choices. I'm not saying everyone does, but a substantial number do. Now add illegal immigrants to the mix.
They will be out of cash before the end of the month. We are not going to let people starve in the streets. We will end up with programs to help people who can't manage cash. The people who can manage cash will be upset that others are getting more. They now have an incentive to not manage so well.
There is an unlimited demand for anything that's free. Just like universal income.
