on PBS. There are hundreds of underwriters of different PBS shows. Most are private foundations, trusts, individual philanthropists, and contribution by viewers. You don't see many corporations as contributors. They are all listed after most all shows in the credits, or you can google and ask "who underwrites Nova, Masterpiece, This Old House", etc. to find out. You could even ask if Monsanto underwrites any programming on PBS to see for yourself.
