Asking for proof of racism is even called racist.
There is very real harm caused by false accusations of racism. British girls have been raped and some killed and authorities have allowed it to continue for fear of false accusations of racism.
There was a report that came out that said the police knew who was committing the abuse. They had their names, their addresses, where they worked. They knew what was happening. But they did nothing, this was done mostly by Pakistani and Muslim men.
Maggie Oliver (a detective who resigned over the scandal and exposed a lot of what was happening) said that “people at the top of the police and at the social services … knew the facts and chose to bury the truth.”
