We don’t have a “war on terror." We have a war with Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan that we are afraid to declare or to fight.

The Iranian general we killed in Baghdad was an enemy soldier in uniform present in Iraq to make war on the United States. Killing him, and especially in such a public and dramatic way, WAS an act of war, one of many.
