Those countries do have very different structures and economies: Communism. Fidel Castro railed against the "evil rich." When he died was worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $900 million.
And how's Kim Jung Un faring when compared to the citizenry oppressed, not by "evil capitalists," but by truly evil Communism?
The only "equality" you find in that setup is equality of misery.
